Her Journey Group General Terms and Conditions

Please read this document carefully. By participating in Her Journey group and membership
community, you are entering into a service agreement with Safe Emotions, LLC. You are also
acknowledging full understanding of the service conditions and limitations listed below.
Welcome to Her Journey Group and Safe Emotions, LLC (hereinafter referred to as “SE”). This
document (the Agreement) contains important information about SE’s professional services
and business policies.

[Group Coaching Services and Limitations]
Her Journey Group sessions content has been formulated by a licensed psychotherapist, Dr.
Denisa Millette, PhD, LPC, CCTP based on the latest evidence and research-based practices in
the field of trauma psychotherapy. The sessions are focused on healing and recovery using
psychoeducation, mind-body practices, behavioral techniques, art therapy, and social support.
The sessions are not intended to process individual traumatic experiences as this could be very
triggering to you or others in the group. We encourage you to work on trauma processing in
individual therapy sessions. In addition, the sessions are not intended to replace psychotherapy
or any other medical services.
All sessions will require an active effort on your part. For the sessions to be successful and bring
about the desired outcome, you will need to play an active role in the process. Safe Emotions,
LLC does not warrant a cure or offering any guarantee of results or improvement of any
condition.

[Assumptions of Risks]
I understand that the potential benefits of group/community participations may include
obtaining a professional opinion and an increased understanding of myself. I understand that
potential risks may include possible emotional distress concerning my situation, feelings like
sadness, guilt, anxiety, anger, loneliness, as well as recalling some unpleasant aspects of my
history.

[Group Sessions Registration and Fees]
Registration for Her Journey group is $30. The fee is non-refundable (unless the group doesn’t
form) and is due at the time of registration to hold your place. At this time, we are accepting
credit card payments only.
Once you register for the group, you will be expected to pay for it weekly at the time of the
service. Your commitment to the group means that you will be charged the $45 fee
continuously for 8 weeks regardless of your attendance. If no payment is received within 24-
hours after your session, a $25 late fee will be applied, and all future sessions will be
suspended.
If you pay in full (and get one free session), you will not be eligible for a refund if you cannot
complete all 8 weeks.
Group sessions are 2 hours long. All 8 consecutive sessions will be conducted via tele-mental
health platform. You will receive your link as well as your workbook materials upon registration.

[Membership]
There is no registration fee for Her Journey Community membership. You can choose to pay a
monthly fee of $39 or annual fee of $390. You can discontinue your membership at any time by
sending us an email at [email protected] requesting a cancellation.

[Contacting Your Instructor]
You can email us at any time at [email protected]. Please allow 24 hours to receive a
response.

[Limits on Confidentiality]
We expect all group participants to abide by confidentiality rules covered in the first group
session. However, SE cannot guarantee full confidentiality, given the nature of this group. SE
will not share the names or contact information of any of our group or membership
participants.
